My name is Artamisha Farnsworth but most people call me Misha. I am a Suzuki trained harpist and harp teacher. My initial training began with Suzuki harp teacher, Kimberly Dunford at age eight. Throughout grade school, I competed in various competitions, including the American Harp Society National Competition, the Young Artist’s Harp Competition, and the Utah Sterling Scholar Music Competition. At age sixteen, I was accepted into the 4th International Harp Academy HarpMasters Program in Bern, Switzerland, where I studied with Milda Agazarian and performed in the HarpMaster Gala Concert. After high school I was accepted into the Harp Performance program at Brigham Young University and studied with Dr. Nicole Brady.
Most of my time is spent teaching harp lessons, but I also play for the Grand America Hotel during tea time and other special events. I am currently serving as the Suzuki Association of Utah Harp Vice President.
