Teaching the harp has been a passion of mine for many years! My teaching philosophy is largely influenced by the Suzuki Method. I’m a Suzuki-trained harpist and a Suzuki-certified harp teacher. Suzuki Method is a music teaching method based on the principles of listening, parent involvement, loving encouragement, constant repetition, and performance opportunities. The method favors learning technical skills through song-playing rather than route exercises. Students of the Suzuki Method all learn the same repertoire so they can learn from each other and perform together. Teachers of the Suzuki Method believe that all children can learn to play an instrument well. To learn more about the Suzuki Method you can visit https://suzukiassociation.org.

Lessons are offered in increments of 30 minutes and 45 minutes with lesson plans varying for each individual student. I teach students of all ages and am flexible to help you learn the songs you want as your technique progresses. I also encourage students to take part in in learning seminars and recitals that occur throughout the year.

Please write or call me with any questions about harp lessons. I'd love to hear from you!
